About MECar
A whole car, from the first sketch to the track
MECar is a student racing club in Yonsei University's College of Engineering. Our members choose a concept, design and analyze the car, source and make parts, assemble it, and test it.
Each member owns part of the vehicle. Every part has to work with the rest.
Mechanical, electrical and operations members work together through the full build. We study what happens on track, then bring those lessons into the next car. Members from different years and majors can join the work.

Formula / 2027
Our first Formula car
Formed in 2026, the Formula team is defining the car's layout and architecture from the ground up. The work brings together chassis, suspension, steering, brakes, powertrain, electrical systems, frame and aerodynamics. We aim to debut at Formula Student Korea in 2027.
Electric Baja
Built for rough ground
Our electric off-road car continues to evolve. Competition and test data help us improve durability, stability and handling. We plan to keep entering the KSAE student Baja competition.

Looking ahead
The 2027 plan
We are building our first Formula car for a Formula Student Korea debut in 2027 and shaping a repeatable design and development process. The Baja team will keep racing and use its testing and competition experience to improve the next car.
